Been going through the Steve Jobs biography, great book.. brings a lot to light about how crazy of a dude he really was. I always thought he was some sort of zen master and believed in a minimalist lifestyle, but really he was such a control/perfectionist he would rather have nothing than have the wrong something. I’ve found myself doing the same thing, I went 8 months without a work desk.. because I wanted the perfect desk.. I finally gave up and bought a cheap one I could make due with.

Vintage Calculators are some of the most well thought out and designed items from the past. the bright colors, and simple interfaces where an attempt to tap into the future of design.. This is a cool project by student Elizabeth Fraser

Really cool table by Julian Kyhl, especialy when you take into consideration it is only held together by carefully crafted joints.  check out more pics here.
