3 ways the brain creates meaning

I’ve always been a visual person, and after watching this it helps me understand how important writing things out can be.

My wife and I dream of moving to NYC… if we could I think we would have to get rid of alot of our furniture and get new items that would fit in a 800< sqf space… it would totally be worth it…

Must have Free apps

I’m always looking for quicker, easier, and smarter ways of going at my day to day tasks.. I mean if it saves me three clicks a day that’s over 1095 un-needed milliseconds of my life retrieved for doing something else lame.

clipmenuClipMenu (link) – I just came across this one a week or so ago. I’m always copy and pasting images and text. This little guy lets you record a history of those items to use over and over again.

dropboxDropBox (link) – Sick of FTP(ing) things to clients? and if your like me and work from a couple different machines, it’s nice to have all your filesĀ  your working on in one place. DropBox has been amazing! and 2gigs for free.. why not use it?

jiongJing Project (link) – I’ve been using Jing for a year or so. There are probably thousands of screen capture apps out there… this one is free and simple.

quicksilverQuicksilver (link) – How could I almost forget Quicksilver… I downloaded this a long time ago but did not start using it till a couple months ago. and now life could not be easier! I barely ever have to search around my dock bar any more to launch the app I need.

BONUS! this one is not free but I don’t think I could live without it…

Default Folder X (link)
doesn’t look like much… but I can’t start to explain how much time and frustration this has saved me when working long days.. This functionality NEEDS to be in the next release of OS X.. Hear me apple?

So are there any apps that I need? or missing?
